I began my work with the SPCA by photographing the then Mayor Heather Fargo for the cover of their magazine. Then I was honored to become the Official Photographer for the Sacramento SPCA Santa Paws event held every November. Along with the wonderful volunteers, we photographed  over 100 pets and their families for many years. We also had the opportunity to help with adoptions by doing a special black and white session with some of their precious animals.

This was a wonderful day! I was honored to cover the Project R.I.D.E. annual fundraiser Spaghetti Feed which included a special Ranch Ride. Project R.I.D.E. is a non-profit equine therapy program based in Elk Grove, CA. They have worked with special needs children for over 40 years!
